Purpose

What this policy is designed to do.

To make it safe and practical for employees, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to raise genuine concerns so they can be assessed and addressed before harm increases.

Who it applies to: Employees, contractors, suppliers, clients, applicants and other stakeholders who wish to report conduct connected with Lion & Leo.

Our commitments

The standards we expect in practice.

These principles guide decisions, conduct and day-to-day execution across the relevant parts of our business.

01

Receive reports respectfully and restrict information to people who need it for assessment or investigation.

02

Permit anonymous reporting where the available channel supports it.

03

Prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a concern honestly and in good faith.

04

Assess credible reports promptly and investigate serious allegations impartially.

05

Document outcomes, corrective actions and external notifications where required.

How we apply it

Controls that turn policy into evidence.

Controls are scaled to the nature, value and risk of the activity rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all checklist.

01

Dedicated compliance email monitored for ethics and misconduct concerns.

02

Confidential hotline through the company’s published telephone contact.

03

Written reporting to the Compliance Officer, including sealed-envelope submission.

04

Anonymous physical drop-box option at the main office where maintained.

05

Case logging, evidence preservation, conflict checks and investigation oversight for material matters.

Accountability

Clear ownership matters.

Compliance protects report confidentiality and coordinates assessment.

Managers must not suppress, alter or retaliate against reports.

Investigators should be sufficiently independent from the subject of the concern.

Senior management reviews significant findings and remediation where appropriate.

Speak up

How to raise a concern.

Reports can be sent to compliance@lionleo.net or raised by phone at +93 794 900 145. Concerns may also be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Compliance Officer or through any anonymous reporting channel maintained at the Kabul office.

Reports made honestly and in good faith should be protected from retaliation. Confidentiality is maintained as far as possible while still allowing a fair assessment or investigation.
